Dr. Dennis Goodman graduated cum laude with distinction from the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, critical care, clinical lipidology, cardiac CT and integrative (hollistic) medicine. His focus is on using natural approaches to treat lipid disorders, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases by avoiding statins, other medications, and stents wherever possible. He was the Chief of Cardiology at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, as well as the Director of the Integrative Medicine Division and Wellness program at New York Medical Associates (www.nymamed.com).
