For 31 years, Dr. W.Z. “Buz” Burkhead has treated patients with shoulder pain. The spectrum ranges from the high school student with a dislocated shoulder to his grandfather with arthritis to the professional athlete to the injured laborer. He specializes in the revision of previous failed shoulder surgery. Dr. Burkhead is the past president of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and serves on the board of the International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Dr. Burkhead’s hobby is music.
