Dr. Lisa Fichtel has been a medical oncologist in private practice with the START Center for Cancer Care for more than 25 years. She received her doctorate of medicine from UT Southwestern and completed her internship, residency and fellowship at the Baylor University Medical Center. Her clinical interests include malignant brain tumors and breast cancer. Dr. Fichtel is involved with Women in Medicine & Law for the Cure®; S.L.E.W.; Thrivewell Cancer Foundation, and Curtain Up Cancer Foundation; which raises funds to assist with the cure of cancer and offers programs to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
