Profile
Dr. Stokes is a Board Certified, Spine Fellowship trained Neurosurgeon with a practice exclusively focused on the operative and non-operative managment of spine conditions. Our practice is a multi-disciplinary, spine only model consisting of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, Neurological Spine Surgeons and Orthopedic spine surgeons. The practice manages all aspects of cervical, thoracic and lumbar Spine Care including spinal deformity, tumors, trauma and degenerative conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis among others. The Center serves as a regional referral destination for both simple and complex spinal conditions. We use the most advanced cutting edge devices and techniques to remain at the forefront of Spine Care. We are currently involved in multiple clinical trials to advance treatment. Our model employs a "non-operative care first" philosophy for optimal outcomes with minimal intervention. Should conservative care not result in resolution of symptoms then care is escalated to more invasive treatments when appropriate.
