Dr. Jake Reynolds was born and raised in Austin, TX. He grew up playing several sports including basketball and swimming, and attended Anderson High School where he graduated valedictorian. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, where he competed as a collegiate swimmer. Setting his sights on medicine, he was accepted into McGovern Medical School in Houston. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, where he was elected to serve as chief resident. Dr. Reynolds performs LASIK, cataract surgery and lens replacement surgery to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
