A native Houstonian, Howard Gerber, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist/dermatopathologist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Gerber attended the University of Texas Medical School-Houston and completed his dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He co-founded Bellaire Dermatology in 1997 and has served as a consultant dermatopathologist to various laboratories in Houston. Areas of interest: autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis and lupus erythematous, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer management, and correlating clinical presentations with skin biopsy findings.
