Dr. Mejia is a native of San Angelo and a practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology physician. She treats women of all ages and has special interest in minimally invasive surgery with robotics and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She graduated from Texas A&M University and Saint George’s University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. She is actively involved in the community, serving as the Medical Director of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health and the local Pregnancy Help Center. Dr. Mejia is a board member on the Cultural Affairs Council and sustaining member of the Junior League. She has 3 young children, Analiese age 10, Mary Carlisle age 7, and Adeline age 5. Dr. Mejia enjoys spending time with her children, horseback riding, camping and being at the ranch. She has a long ranching heritage, and is actively involved in the family business, Pfluger Herefords, LLC.
