Catherine Cahill, M.D., is a 2019-2024 Texas Super Doctors® Honoree and a board-certified Orthopedic surgeon at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating at the top of her class. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and earned scholarship distinction from the medical college for being a "complete physician." She then completed five years of Orthopedic Surgery training at Baylor College of Medicine before completing subspecialty training in adult hip and knee replacement and hip preservation. Her fellowships include the renowned Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston and a fellowship in hip preservation completed at Inselspital Hospital in Bern, Switzerland. Dr. Cahill is trained in nonoperative and operative musculoskeletal care and specializes in hip and knee surgery. She is affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) where she is an Volunteer Professor, Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She also participates in ongoing research at BCM. Dr. Cahill’s clinical interests include arthritis and joint reconstruction including hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive approaches for hip and knee replacement, avascular necrosis of the hip, complex revision hip and knee surgeries, hip preservation, partial knee replacements, and hip dysplasia.
