Thomas Romo III, M.D. FACS is a double-board-certified and internationally recognized expert, instructor, and pioneer in the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is the director of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital/Northwell Health System NYC, and the preceptor to two American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellows; spearheading research in 3D printing facial architectural structures. He designed the surgical techniques and instruments for Karl Storz Endoscopy, which are utilized in minimally invasive endoscopic facelift surgeries. He innovated the technique of reduction-structured rhinoplasty, which produces functional, naturally aesthetic noses. Dr. Romo is also the founder and director of the Little Baby Face Foundation, which provides pro bono facial reconstructive surgery for low-income children with facial birth defects. Over the last 15 years, Dr. Romo and his associated surgeons have operated on over 1,000 patients with complex congenital facial deformities.
