Dr. Mafalda Barbosa is an Assistant Professor of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has dedicated 15 years to helping children and their families with genetic disorders as both a clinician and researcher, with a focus on neurodevelopmental disorders, cardiovascular genetics, and undiagnosed diseases. She is Co-PI of several studies in Pediatric Precision Medicine, striving to establish correct diagnoses and offer personalized management while also advancing science and medicine to develop effective therapies for rare conditions.
