Profile
Dr. Radhakrishnan is Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. After completing initial medical training in India and the UK, he completed nephrology fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Columbia-University Medical Center in New York. He is the Clinical Chief of the Nephrology Division at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
His clinical and research interests are centered on the therapy of glomerular diseases and critical care nephrology. He is an Associate Editor of Kidney International and Editor-in-Chief of Kidney International Reports. He has served on educational committees with the ASN and ISN and is a Global Education Ambassador for the ISN. His commitment to medical education and patient care is exemplified by his numerous teaching awards and his inclusion in the Who’s Who among America’s Teachers & Educators, America’s Best Doctors and Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors.
