Dr. David E. Rivadeneira is a nationally recognized, board-certified colon and rectal surgeon. He provides a full range of consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services with an emphasis in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopy and da Vinci robotic surgery for colon and rectal cancer, polyps, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, fecal incontinence, fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, pelvic floor and rectal prolapse, hernias, and colonoscopy. He is director of colorectal surgery and surgical services at Huntington Hospital, professor of surgery at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and vice chair of surgical strategic initiatives for Northwell Health System, with additional offices in Smithtown, Babylon, Greenlawn, Glen Cove, and Port Jefferson Station. Telehealth visits are also offered.
