Bani M. Azari MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the founding Medical Director of the program for Cardiac Genetics, Genomics and Precision medicine at Northwell Health. Her clinical practice is focused on the diagnosis and management of individuals with inherited cardiovascular conditions. Dr. Azari earned her Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Molecular and Cellular Biology and an MD/PhD at SUNY Downstate. Her medical training includes a residency at Mt. Sinai-St Luke’s followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale University.
