Dr. Stetson is an award-winning orthopaedic surgeon who is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine and is the Team Doctor for the USA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Olympic Volleyball Teams. He is a sports medicine and arthroscopy specialist with an expertise in the arthroscopic surgical reconstruction of complex shoulder, knee, elbow, and ankle injuries. He has over 25 years of teaching experience as a volunteer professor of orthopaedic surgery at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. He is a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) for the state of California and has served as an expert witness for the last 17 years in over 70 cases involving complex personal injury, workers compensation, malpractice, and product liability cases. This marks the 13th straight year Dr. Stetson has been selected to the Southern California Super Doctors list, and he is also a Super Doctors Hall of Fame honoree.

The NCAA Silver Anniversary Award is given to six former NCAA Student-Athletes who have completed successful collegiate careers in various sports 25 years ago and went on to excel in their chosen professions. Dr. Stetson was recognized in 2007 for his work as an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He was also recognized for his volunteer work through his non-profit foundation, Operation Arthroscopy (www.operationarthroscopy.org), and his work in Haiti and Cuba.
