Dr. Layne Kumetz is a board certified OB/GYN. Her clinical expertise includes preventative care, abnormal Pap tests, abnormal bleeding, infertility, pediatric gynecology and optimal obstetric care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies. She proudly delivers 95 percent of her patients’ babies. A Los Angeles native, she even volunteered at Cedars-Sinai in high school. She received her bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, and her doctorate of medicine from the prestigious University of Michigan. She completed her residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She has published articles in various peer-reviewed journals, including Fertility and Sterility and The Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and she is a co-author of the textbook Clinical and Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. As an exceptionally trained gynecologic surgeon, she is committed to providing her patients with minimally invasive options that allow for less post-operative pain and faster recovery.
