Dr. Robin Baker earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University, finished his pediatric internship and residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his neonatology fellowship at University of Florida and Children’s National Medical Center. After his fellowships, he joined Fairfax Neonatal Associates (FNA) at Inova Children’s Hospital where his interest has been in respiratory distress, quality improvement, and follow-up of the premature infant. His most recent research, in conjunction with Inova Translational Medical Institute, is a molecular study of pre-term birth to further evaluate the genetics of premature delivery. He currently serves as President of FNA, PC, a neonatal and pediatric subspecialty group, and is a board member of March of Dimes. FNA also provides staffing for the NICUs at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Inova Loudoun Hospital, and Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.
