When healthcare consumers asked for a list of the top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in New York, it just made sense to ask our selected New York Super Doctors for help. Alumni were asked to nominate candidates to whom they would go to or refer to their patients and loved ones for care.
The selection process for this first-ever “Specialists” list included peer nomination and independent research on the candidates by MSP Communications (including professional achievement and disciplinary history).
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a recognized dental specialty approved by the American Dental Association (ADA). Specialists diagnose and provide restorative and reconstructive procedures for the mouth, jaws, teeth and face.
The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) is the certifying board for the specialty and is recognized and approved by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association.
